New Zealand Pavlova
4 Egg whites
200 grams sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon Vinegar
2 teaspoons cornflour
Beat egg whites until very very stiff, add sugar very gradually while still beating. Add cornflour, vanilla and vinegar.
Place on greased paper on greased tray and bake 150 degrees C or 300F for 1 hour. Turn off oven without opening door and leave several hours.
Garnish with whipped cream, fruit etc.
